Tone Boom is a game you play on your own device. It has no accounts, no ads and no in-game chat, and it does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, camera or microphone.

What stays on your device

The game keeps a few things in your device's own storage so they are there next time: your options (sound, firing, ball shapes and the like), your language, whether you have seen the tutorial, your records and the AI ladder. They never leave the device. Clearing the site's data in your browser, or uninstalling the app, deletes them.

The website

On this website we count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which tells us how many people opened which page, roughly where from (country) and on what kind of device and browser. It uses no cookies, does not follow you across other sites and does not identify you; we only ever see totals. The site is hosted by Vercel, whose servers, like any web server, see the request your browser makes in order to deliver the page. See Vercel's analytics privacy notes.

The Android and iOS apps

The apps contain the whole game and work offline. They collect nothing and send nothing: no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier. On Android they hold two ordinary permissions: vibration, for the game's haptics (which you can switch off in Options), and network access, which the app framework declares by default and the game does not use.

Children

Because the game collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.

Changes

If this ever changes โ€” for example if the game gains online play โ€” this page will say so before the change ships, with a new date at the top.

Who makes it

Tone Boom is made by TMTL, an independent developer, as a hobby: it has no company, no advertisers and no partners behind it, and nothing about you is shared with anyone.
